Why aren’t we learning method X? Why not method Y? What about method Z?
- CS 307 is meant to be a broad overview of practical machine learning methods for data science practitioners. It isn’t possible to teach every possible method in a single semester! The content of the course was chosen to give you a foundation such that you can tackle practical machine learning problems, and continue learning if you find you have an interest in machine learning.
